On March 9, 12PM-1PM, the San Diego History Center is presented a webinar on “San Diego Women I Wish I’d Known” – San Diego women, like Alice Klauber or Bea Evenson. who impacted the development of Balboa Park and the institutions within it. Each woman’s story reflects the era in which she lived and prospered, and each tale illustrates how one woman made a difference in San Diego.
The speaker is Linda Canada, a former archivist for the Japanese American Historical Society of San Diego (JAHSSD). Linda has given talks for the History Center’s Speakers Bureau for more than 20 years.
