Gelson’s has your back! Use their recipes below to cook up Super Bowl-worthy munchies that are sure to impress the game-watching crew!
Queso Fundido (Pictured above…yum!)
Cheese pull for days! It’s a skillet of spicy chorizo, crunchy Anaheim peppers, and tangy onion topped with cheddar and mozzarella — and baked in the oven ’til it’s bubbly, melty, and gooey scrumptious.
Eggplant Parm Sliders
Now, here’s a sandwich that checks all the game-day boxes. It’s eggplant coated in panko, aromatics, and Parmesan, fried golden brown, and layered on a slider bun with a generous amount of marinara sauce — and all the mozzarella you could want.
Barbecue Jackfruit Pizza & Jalapeño Ranch (Vegan)
Tangy barbecue sauce, melty vegan cheese, shredded jackfruit, chunks of sweet pineapple, and a zippy vegan jalapeño ranch sauce — this pizza is crisp and chewy, tangy-sweet, a little spicy, and so melt-in-your-mouth creamy. In other words, it’s deeply satisfying.
Healthier Game Day Chili and Skillet Corn Bread
A healthier yet satisfying game day tradition that swaps out carne for ground turkey breast and crumbled tofu, ditches the cheese and adds in handfuls of anti-inflammatory veggies.
No time to cook? No problem.
