Herb & Wood And Herb & Sea

Kick-off your Easter Sunday (and your pre-Easter egg hunt) with brunch service at Herb & Wood and Herb & Sea.

The three-course dine-in brunch menu offers crowd-pleasing entrees such as a Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict with braised kale, sundried tomato tapenade, and herb hollandaise, a Lobster Thermador with tarragon lemon hollandaise, or a classic Filet & Eggs with braised kale, shallots, roasted peppers, and romesco sauce. Starters and sides include a Citrus Salad, Crab Cake with old bay aioli, Springtime Asparagus, and Monkey Bread.

If you’d rather enjoy Easter brunch at home, Chefs Carlos’ three-course takeout menu includes a classic Spiral Glazed Ham with spiced pineapple chutney, a Veggie Easter Pie with peppers, kale, and ricotta, and for dessert, a Lava Cake with a special Eastertime surprise.

Catania

The popular La Jolla eatery will be dishing out a special Easter Sunday Supper To-Go. A holiday-themed version of their weekend takeout meals, Easter’s Sunday Supper will feature Lamb. Pre-order online and pick-up on Easter Sunday. Guests that want to dine in can join Catania for brunch! The restaurant recently welcomed back brunch, serving whimsical starters, like Seasonal Housemade Pop-Tarts and Walnut Caramel Cinnamon Rolls, as well as entrees like Calabrian “hot” Chicken, Local Halibut Sandwich, and an array of pasta and pizzas.

Gravity Heights

The Sorrento Mesa Brew Pub will be open for regular brunch starting at 10:30am on Easter Sunday. The menu features items such as their infamous Dorito-quiles, with chipotle braised chicken, farm eggs, avocado, cheese sauce, pickled red onion, cotija, crema and cilantro, Pork Belly Hash, Blueberry Compote and Mascarpone French Toast and more. Join them in their expansive beer garden fireside, in one of their cabanas, or at the al fresco bar. Don’t forget to pair brunch with one of nearly a dozen house brews, or a house cocktail.

Ranch 45

Ranch 45 in Solana Beach is simplifying Easter meal prep this year by offering several family-style meals, along with a selection of a la carte brunch offerings. The menu, which will be available for dine-in on Ranch 45’s beautiful outdoor patio, or for pickup, includes a Southern-style Easter brunch or dinner for four people, along with a Southern California take on Easter dinner.

The Southern-style menu is comprised of smoked Tri-tip, Potato Salad, Collard Greens, and Deviled Eggs, while the Southern California dinner includes Brandt New York Roast, Roast Potatoes, Chino Farms Vegetables, and Gem Lettuce Salad. Both meals are designed to feed a family of four, and have an optional pitcher of Mimosas!

Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa

Gather with family and friends at Estancia La Jolla and celebrate Easter with a glass of bubbly and an a la-carte menu sure to provide something for everyone, with a breakfast taco and omelet station, assorted pastries, a chilled seafood display, carving station and a selection of desserts including local gelato. Easter brunch will also include an Easter egg hunt and Easter bunny for guests to take photos with.

Reservations are required and can be made via Greenfinch’s Open Table and are available from 9AM to 3PM. Easter brunch costs $85 per adult and $25 per child (tax and tip not included).

The Gluten Free Baking Co.

If the Easter Bunny needs a little help securing Gluten Free, Dairy Free, or Vegan, treats for Easter this year, The Gluten Free Baking Company, based in North Park, is here to lend a helping hand. Stop by the shop to grab an assortment of Easter-themed goodies, including cupcakes, cream puffs, scones, cookies, donuts, muffins, and a “Happy Easter” cookie cake.

In addition to specialty Easter treats, the bakery also offers a rotating daily selection of muffins, breads, donuts, and bagels, as well as sweet options such as cinnamon rolls, cookies, and lemon bars, allowing guests to stock up on Easter brunch essentials, as well as a full selection of sweets.

Pick-up orders can be placed in advance via the bakery’s website here by March 24, and a variety of treats will also be available for walk-in orders leading up to, and on, Easter.

Garibaldi

Garibaldi, one of the InterContinental San Diego’s signature restaurants, is hosting Easter brunch on Sunday, April 4 from 10AM to 2PM. Guests can enjoy a 3-course pre-fixe menu on the restaurant’s rooftop patio, which boasts unparalleled bay views. The menu, which is $45 a person, features options such as Sardinian Limoncello Crespelle with Sweetened Ricotta, Walnut, and Candied Orange Syrup, Egg White, Castelvetrano Olive, and Pecorino Scramble with Nduja Focaccia, and Arugula and Myrtle Braised Pork Belly Hash with Roasted Baby Bell Peppers, Potato, Fava Bean, Calabrian Chili Aioli, Poached Egg.

Each meal will also feature sweet and savory Italian Pastries, and Cassata Siciliana made with Cara Cara Orange, Candied Pine Nuts, Sweet Mascarpone. Guests also have the option to add on bottomless Aperol Spritzes or Champagne, for an additional $25 per person. Reservations, which is highly recommended, can be made via Garibaldi’s website.

7 Mile Kitchen

Celebrate Easter this year with Sunday brunch at 7 Mile Kitchen in Carlsbad. Chef Julian Quiñones will greet guests with complimentary Lemon Blueberry and Chocolate Banana Bread upon arrival. Indulge in brunch classics like Corned Beef Hash, Strawberry Shortcake Waffles or Bagel & Lox. Don’t forget to sip on freshly brewed coffee or a mimosa. Mimosas can be made bottomless for $18, wink wink.

Giardino Neighborhood Cucina

The cozy East County eatery will be serving an unlimited, family-style brunch featuring classics (egg dishes and sweet tooth favorites), as well as Giardino staples, like salads, pizzas and pastas. Enjoy, endless mimosas for $15 with your meal. Easter brunch is $39 for adults and $19 for 12 and under. The restaurant will serve their regular dinner menu starting at 4PM.

Pacifica Del Mar

The ocean view restaurant atop Del Mar Plaza is an Easter staple. Chef Chris Idso will be offering brunch classics from 10:30AM – 2PM. Enjoy dishes such as Smoked Salmon Avocado Toast, Achiote Braised Pork Shoulder Hash and Mixed Berry Waffle. Lunch offers fresh options, like Tuna Poke Bowl, Sugar Spiced Verlasso Salmon and Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwich. Regular dinner will also be served.

Operacaffe

Operacaffe in the Gaslamp Quarter is celebrating Easter with a three-course Italian meal for two priced at $100 on April 4th. Dishes include Funghi & Funghetti prepared with arugula, goat cheese, sauteed mushrooms and vinaigrette dressing, Ravioli Aragosta with cognac and Maine lobster stuffed ravioli, creamy tomato sauce with artichokes and lobster meat, and a traditional Easter Italian dessert, Chocolate Colomba, among other house specialties. Add a bottle of house bubbly, red or white wine for $10. Open for patio dining and 25% limited-capacity indoor dining, Operacaffe is ready to celebrate Easter safely and with savory Italian eats!

Union Kitchen & Tap Encinitas

Hop on over to Union Kitchen & Tap Encinitas this Easter for Sunday brunch from 8AM to 2PM, and enjoy Veuve Clicquot Mimosas and live music from 11AM until 2PM. Brunch items include Skillet Cornbread Benedict featuring grilled andouille sausage, poached eggs, roasted okra and mustard-bacon hollandaise, as well as Chicken & Waffle, boasting a bacon, cheddar and scallion cornbread waffle, served with buttermilk fried chicken, a sunny farm egg and sriracha maple glaze. The location offers 25% limited-capacity indoor dining, plus 50 outdoor tables. Reservations are encouraged!

Breakfast Republic

Breakfast Republic is ready for Easter with new seasonal items perfect for Sunday brunch. Morning Cordon Bleu is plated with crispy chicken breast Milanese stuffed with ham, gruyere and muenster cheese, fried eggs and creamy bacon bechamel served with house potatoes, while sweet ube and lavender mingle on a plateful of Lavender Peach Pancakes, prepared with ube and lavender-infused pancake batter, sweet pink pastry cream and kombucha-poached peaches.

Strawberries take the stage in Breakfast Republic’s Strawberries and Cream Latte, infused with rich espresso, strawberry syrup and milk served over ice and topped with freeze-dried strawberries. Floral flavors effervesce in the Lovely Lillet cocktail, comprised of Lillet Blanc, elderflower liqueur, orange juice and simple syrup served over fresh ice and topped with dried flower petals. All locations are now seating indoors at 25% limited-capacity, in addition to plenty of available outdoor seating – all of which are spaced to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all diners!

Fig Tree Café

Beloved for its garden-style flair, Fig Tree Café is the idyllic spot to savor springtime specials on Easter Sunday in San Diego. Sweet Pistachio Crepes are stuffed with dulce de leche pastry cream and bananas foster, finished with a candied pistachio crumble and sweet dulce de leche – a perfect seasonal pairing to go with their Rose Latte, delicately laced with rose syrup that blends seamlessly with espresso, cardamom and steamed milk, and sprinkled with dried rose petals.

Limited capacity indoor seating is now available at Fig Tree Café’s Liberty Station outpost, in addition to its spacious patio. Already a fully outdoor location by design, Fig Tree Café in Pacific Beach is perfect for those seeking patio-only dining options.

Breakfast Company

Seasonal specials are sprouting up in the Gaslamp District at Breakfast Company, where culinary innovation coupled with a zeal for morning bites, yields an array of crave-worthy creations fit for an Easter feast. The Vegan Birria Burrito is jam-packed with toothsome oyster mushroom birria, Mexican rice, onion and cilantro, plus a side of warm birria broth. A sip of something sweet is a welcomed addition to the feast with their Lavender Vanilla Latte, brimming with espresso, lavender and vanilla syrup, and frothy steamed milk sprinkled with dried lavender petals.

Valentina

Pretend you’re on spring break in Europe and enjoy Easter brunch at Valentina Restaurant in Encinitas. The European-inspired bistro and wine bar’s outdoor patio transports diners to Spain and France, where in addition to their regular lunch menu, they’ll also be offering a special holiday menu which includes the following dishes, Glazed Ham and Grilled Pineapple served with Tater Tots, White Siberian Sturgeon Caviar with Blinis, Boiled Eggs and Parsley and Catch of the Day. Valentina will be open on Easter Sunday and serving brunch from 11am-3pm followed by regular dinner from 4PM-9PM.

Harumama 

With locations in La Jolla, Carlsbad and Little Italy, Harumama is the perfect place to go with a friend or your family to celebrate Easter this April. The restaurant, which is known for its Insta-worthy, cult favorite character steamed buns, will be serving up a limited edition, “Easter Bunny” character bun during the first two weeks of April at all Harumama locations as well as at Teriyaki & Bao. The adorable and tasty buns are filled with nutella and sure to bring a smile to your face and maybe even an IG story or two to your Instagram feed.

Rusticucina

Easter brunch with an Italian twist sounds like the ideal way to celebrate this year, and farm-to-neighborhood eatery Rusticucina has created a menu to complement their delicious Sicilan offerings. The Breakfast Charcuterie board includes Applewood Bacon, Sausages, Pancetta, Waffles, and a Chocolate Muffin so everyone has something yummy to nibble on. The Steak and Eggs plate features steak, two eggs, and potatoes with Italian seasoning, a hearty meal so guests can imbibe with Italian cocktails like a classic Aperol Spritz or the Lemontini. Other menu items include house made meatballs and pistachio French toast. Easter Brunch is from 9AM – 3PM and Easter Dinner is from 3PM to close with a limited menu.

Seaport Village

Seaport Village is springing into Easter celebrations! With sanitation protocols and social-distancing in place, the iconic waterfront neighborhood is hosting photo sessions with the Easter Bunny. Cost is $40 for a flash drive with captured photos. The Easter Bunny’s schedule can be found here, no appointment necessary. While you’re there, stop by Seaport Fudge Factory and The Something Sweet Shop to grab all the basket-filling necessities, like pastel-colored donuts, egg-shaped Rice Krispie Treats and plenty of candy.
