San Diego Ballet Season Begins With “Ritmos Latinos”
San Diego Ballet is celebrating Latin music this fall with “Ritmos Latinos”, a performance merging Latin rhythms and ballet. This annual program celebrates Latin music and dance equally and features two of San Diego Ballet’s audience favorite in one program.
Get swept away in the evocative and romantic Que Bonito Amor (How Beautiful is Love) set to rapturous score of Mariachi music. Mambomania, one of Artistic Director Javier Velasco’s sizzling signature works and San Diego Ballet’s signature piece, is set to the music of Velasco’s childhood and danced with a great deal of dynamism.
The performances will take place at 2:30PM on October 30-31 and November 6-7 in the scenic Ingram Plaza at ARTS DISTRICT Liberty Station, allowing audiences to enjoy the performances in the open air. To purchase tickets, click here.
