Puesto Mexican Artisan Kitchen and Bar, known for their award winning tacos, margaritas and guacamole, is excited to debut a new menu beginning on November 1st, adding a number of new dishes and drinks to their offerings. The homegrown brand continues to push boundaries with Mexican flavors, creating a menu of crave-worthy dishes and drinks that keep guests coming back for more.
Two new tacos
Two new tacos will join Puesto’s lineup, the Tuna Taco, made with yellowfin tuna, avocado purée, black chile oil and cucumber, as well as the Lamb Barbacoa Taco made with Colorado lamb shoulder, little gem lettuce, and fresh mint. To accompany the tacos, and for all your chip dipping needs, Puesto is also introducing a new guacamole. Dubbed the Fiesta Guacamole, the new dish features roasted peppers, tahini, and chile oil, for a smoother yet spicier spin on the classic guac.
Four new cocktails…including their strongest ever!
To complement the new bites, Puesto is also adding four new cocktails to the menu crafted by Puesto’s Bar & Spirits Creative Director, Beau du Bois (previously of The Restaurant at Meadowood). New Margarita offerings include the Strawberry Margarita with Volcán Blanco Tequila, strawberries and fresh lime and the Passion Fruit Margarita with El Tesoro Blanco Tequila, passion fruit, ginger and lime.
The refreshed cocktail menu will also feature a Bergamot Sour, made with El Tesoro Blanco Tequila, bergamot, lime and egg white, which du Bois notes will be strongest cocktail Puesto has ever had, and Puesto’s first high-end margarita, That Good Good Cadillac, which is made with Siete Leguas Añejo tequila, Grand Marnier and fresh lime.
These new cocktails are part of a cocktail movement by du Bois and the Puesto team to craft cocktails made with only additive-free tequila, leaning into their obsession with quality ingredients and sourcing. The new menu items will be available at each of the Puesto locations, including their original location in La Jolla, downtown at the Headquarters and their newest location in Mission Valley.
See you there, San Diego!
