Located off of North Coast Highway 101 in Encinitas, it’s hard to miss Hamburger Hut’s tropical sign and shaded palm tree patio filled with picnic tables and a lively crowd. Many of whom are cyclists and coffee shop goers thanks to Velotown bike and repair shop and Queenstage coffee and breakfast house that share the space referred to as ‘Funky Town.’

You don’t need a lot of options when it comes to a good burger, which is why Hamburger Hut’s menu consists of a classic burger or cheeseburger with either a single, double or triple flattop charred wagyu beef blend patty on a King Hawaiian roll topped with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, onions, and house-made 10,000 Island Dressing.
Why 10,000? Because Executive Chef Andrew Halvorson says it is 10,000 times better than typical Thousand Island dressing.
Add fries or Jabba Fries, a twist on carne asada fries, with a cold glass of locally-sourced beer or wine, and enjoy an evening on the patio.

To accommodate every guest, Hamburger Hut plans to offer fish tacos and a vegan salad, so all are welcome to enjoy the inviting space.
Open every Wednesday to Sunday from 4 – 9PM (with hours to expand as positions are filled).
See you there….and stay healthy, San Diego!
