The Equity Torch Relay Connecting Community With Pride

Pride by the Beach and the North County LGBTQ Resource Center recognize that solidarity is not enough in 2021. With the rise in violence against transgender and BIPOC communities, uniting against hate has never been more urgent, and the Equity Torch Relay hopes to bring awareness and connection to our community.

The Equity Torch Relay

The Equity Torch will be carried by social justice supporters across the cities of Encinitas, Carlsbad, Oceanside, Escondido, Vista, San Marcos and Camp Pendleton, with the goal of inspiring the world by raising awareness of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender community who embody our community’s rich history of courage, spirit, achievement, and activism.

This event is hosted by North County LGBTQ Resource Center.

This is a free family-friendly event for all ages.
